The Groundlings (Ages 5-6)

Elizabeth Chaseley

Elizabeth Chaseley (she/her) just completed her first year as an Artist Educator with Kentucky Shakespeare. Throughout the 2022-2023 school year, she toured in productions of Twelfth Night, Shakespeare Alive!, Living History: We the People, and Living History: Kentucky History. In addition to performing, she led educational workshops such as Renaissance Dance, Stage Combat, and Acting Fundamentals with schools and organizations in Kentucky and surrounding states. Elizabeth is a graduate of Rockford University, where she received a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre and a B.S. Political Science. Some of her favorite Rockford University credits include Sian in The Revlon Girl and Elle Woods in Legally Blonde the Musical. Elizabeth has also spent three summers performing for children in Live Entertainment at Cedar Point Amusement Park. Elizabeth is passionate about accessible arts education and is excited to continue to pursue this passion at Kentucky Shakespeare this summer.

The Noblings (Ages 7-8)

Ava Vanderkolff

Ava (she/her) has just graduated from Bellarmine University with a degree in Elementary Education and Learning and Behavior Disorders. She is passionate about education, the arts, and the way the two combine to make magic! She first fell in love with Shakespeare in 3rd grade and started performing his work one year later. Ava hopes to create opportunities for children to fall in love with theatre just as she did! She enjoys reading, sewing, making music, and spending time with her cat! She has recently been involved with Bellarmine Theatre in productions such as Little Shop of Horrors, Neighborhood 3: Requisition for Doom, Angel Street, and Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind. She is so excited to be joining Camp Shakespeare again this summer! 

The Noblings (Ages 9-10)

Darrin Mosley

Darrin Mosley Jr (he/him) just completed his second year MFA student/Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Louisville and graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Minor in Theatre. He was a member of the Rock Dance Company, Afro-Colombian Dance Ensemble, and JamRock Hip Hop Dance Team. Darrin was a valuable member of Attack Theatre’s teaching artist team in Propel Schools, and he has also taught with Weary Arts Group, Gemini Children’s Theater, and was on staff as the hip-hop instructor for Dance Conservatory of Pittsburgh. As a performer, his work spans both dance and theatre - performing with Attack Theatre in Pittsburgh Opera’s Moby Dick (2018), Black Swan Ballet Company, Weary Arts Group (2017), the Pittsburgh Musical Theatre production of Newsies (2019), South Park Theater (2019), Steel City Shakespeare (2019), the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival, and University of Louisville's production of Gloria (2022.) Darrin has appeared in the short film series “A Very Covid Christmas” (2021) which received a silver Telly award for best remote production. This will be his second year with Camp!

Ashley Cabrera

Ashley just completed her second year as a MFA graduate student at the University of Louisville. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre, concentrating in performance, from James Madison University in May of 2020. In addition to two years as an Artist Educator, Ashley spent the summer of 2023 with Kentucky Shakespeare performing as Princess in Love's Labour's Lost, a Fairy in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Gentlewoman in Macbeth. At U of L, Ashley has been featured in Gloria by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins as Ani/Sasha/Callie, She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen as Agnes, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as Chip (U/S). She recently make her debut with Three Witches Shakespeare as Touchstone in As You Like It. This will be her third time with The Mechanicals!

The Globe Players (Ages 15-18)

Kyle Ware

Kyle is the director of The Globe Players, the Director of Education for Kentucky Shakespeare, and an actor for the company. Kyle was a Co-Producing Founding Artistic director of the much beloved Le Petomane Theatre Ensemble. Kyle was last seen on the Central Park Stage as Banquo in Macbeth last summer and can be seen this summer in Romeo & Juliet and The Tempest. Kyle is thrilled to direct the talented Globe Players ensemble again this summer.

Camp Manager:

Hannah Pruitt

Hannah is the Director of Creative Engagement for Kentucky Shakespeare and has been a part of team since 2012. She has served as the Camp Shakespeare Intern/Stage Manager for the Globe Players, Assistant Director for the Spring Tours of Julius Caesar, Macbeth, and Romeo & Juliet, and Education Manager. Recently, Hannah completed her training to be an Intimacy Director with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators and is a Certified Mental Health First Aid practitioner.

During the school year, she trains our Artist Educators, creates the curriculum for workshops and residencies, and cultures relationships with schools, community partners, and arts education advocates. This will be her 13th Summer with her favorite KS program - Camp Shakespeare! Thrilled for another year with her favorite artists and students!
